    This is the traditional Chinese form of chess, xiangqi.

    Solid 4.2 cm Acrylic Pieces
    The pieces are solid white acrylic – big, smooth, durable and substantial!
    They are 4.2 cm (1 5/8 inches) in diameter, and 2 cm (7/16 inch) thick.
    A great pleasure to handle while playing, and certain to last long in excellent condition
    Faux Suede Vinyl Xiangqi Playing Mat
    Durable, wrinkle-resistant, very pleasant to the touch!
    This vinyl board has a soft suede-like surface, with smooth naugahyde backing.
    It is very flexible, and will straighten out if folded (though we recommend storing it neatly rolled for best results).
    Xiangqi pieces slide smoothly and stand firmly on this ideal playing surface.
    SIZE:
    20 x 18 inches (52 x 47 cm).
    Lines are spaced 2 inches (5 cm) apart, to accommodate pieces up to 4.8 cm in diameter.

    This set comes with a clear 4-panel rule booklet in English. The rules of play are laid out very well, with illustrations and explanations of everything needed to play.
