Description

This wooden crate was made for MOUNTAIN VALLEY Mineral Water. It was sourced from Hot Springs, Arkansas. The recipient (or warehouse) was located at 410 W. Ontario Street, Chicago.
Mountain Valley started its business in 1883.
There are obvious signs of wear: stains on all sides, the bottom, and the insides; one black marker spot on the inside; dings, dents, and a hole under one of the handles; putty or gum stuck on back side.
