For your consideration and bidding, a five piece lot of pre-owned, S&S Buckle Company, Wamego, Kansas, limited edition, 4th of July commemorative belt buckles. These five belt buckles are dated 1982 through 1986, and, all are numbered #89. These belt buckles were designed by local, educator, taxidermist, wildlife enthusiast, and Wamego legend, Myron Schwinn, to commemorate the outstanding 4th of July celebration that takes place each year in Wamego, Kansas. Each buckle features a noted Wamego landmark with an inscription and serial number on the reverse. The 1982 buckle features the Old Dutch Mill, 1983 features the seven span concrete bridge over the Kansas River built in 1928, 1984 features the Wamego City Park, 1985 features the Cottonwood School House built in 1885, 1986 features the layout of the city of Wamego in 1866. These five buckles represent a complete run in the series of Wamego, Kansas, 4th of July commemorative belt buckles created by Myron Schwinn and the S&S Buckle Company, all with the same serial # 89!
