VINTAGE GENUINE HEAVY (6.0 OUNCE) STERLING SILVER
**1976 SBCRC MEDAL CLASS** SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA, RIDING CLUB TROPHY AWARD WESTERN AMERICAN BELT BUCKLE---This historic & highly collectible Wage brand .925 sterling silver belt buckle is in very good vintage condition and is also being offered in its naturally aged, as worn, condition. It shows a wonderful finish and modest signs of use that would be expected on a buckle from this era. The buckle back does show darker oxidation than the front, which is normal for sterling. There are 2 minor imperfections that we notice: (1) the peg on the latch-style clasp is slightly bent, as shown in the last photo, and (2) one of the 2 welds that connect the peg clasp to the main buckle has come slightly loose and might use re-welding. However, neither of these effect the look or wearabilty of the buckle at all.  In total, this buckle weighs in at a hefty 6.0 ounces and measures 4 1/4" x 3 1/8". It accepts belts up to 1 1/2" wide.
