    Description

    VINTAGE VERY UNUSUAL STYLE WESTERN SILVER TONED ALPACA STYLE WESTERN BELT BUCKLE WITH BLUE IMPRINTED HORSE & SOMRERO RIDER BELT BUCKLE— There are no maker or material hallmarks that we can see on this old western style belt buckle. It looks similar to other Mexican made buckles stamped as alpaca. The slightly darker tarnish on the buckle back indicates to us that there may be some amount of sterling silver in the mix, which is not uncommon in some buckles stamped as alpaca, but we do not think it is a true sterling grade buckle.  It is an interesting relic from the old west and likely dates back to the 1960’s. Measures 3 3/8” x 2” and accepts belts up to 2” wide.
