    Vintage HEAVY Duty WOVEN Fabric SCABBARD for 7-1/2" BLADE, Possible MILITARY ???
    I don't really know anything about its past, it was in with a box of military items and similar gear, mainly berets and hats that I bought at a recent auction so thought it could have military ties but not sure as its not marked as such. The other hats and berets are listed in another auction.
    I stuck a ruler into the sheath portion, it will accommodate a knife with a 7-1/2 inch blade.
    Overall length is 12 inches, about 2-3/4 inches across.
    Looks vintage and is actually quite well and nicely stitched. Its made of a heavy woven cloth or nylon looking material, looks like a seat belt or cargo strap.
