Pair of Vintage “Esquire” Shoe Products Bottles and Boxes!
These are for
Esquire Scuff-Kote

Esquire Patent Leather Refinish!
The
Esquire
brand of shoe products was made by the
Knomark Mfg

Co
.,
Inc
., in
Brooklyn
,
New York
. These are both 2 oz. bottles, most likely from the
1940s
or
1950s!
The boxes both feature classic vintage advertising graphics in bright colors. As shown in the photos, the bottles and boxes are all in very good condition for their ages. There are no cracks or chips in the bottles, and they have very little residual polish inside. One bottle includes the original screw cap, and the other includes the original brush applicator. Both boxes are complete, but one flap came off the Patent Leather Refinish box (it’s still there, inside). The boxes measure about 5” x 2¼” and 4¾” x 1⅞” respectively. The boxes do have some wear, shadowing, and light soiling from storage and use. These are two great examples of vintage shoe polish advertising and packaging. They would make a great addition to your collection!
