Selling a few of my chess sets.  I love chess sets
This is just a great set.  Both board and pieces.
I used to have 2 of these.  This is BY FAR the nicer one.  The inlay on the edge is great.  Each square has something going on.  The wings are still vibrant.  Sometimes they have started to fall apart but not these.  They are intact.
The chess pieces are very good.  The gold one's are excellent.  No paint loss or chips.  The black ones are very good.  The paint is somewhat rough but otherwise terrific.  No paint loss or chips.  The pieces come in their original case that appears to have been hand made and the paper on the top appears to be early 20th century Germany. Very cool
The king is approx. 2 1/2" tall
Just a great pair of items that look terrific together.  You'll love them.  ENJOY.
