Die stock with handles and 6 sizes of guides to cut external threads on
1/4", 5/16", 3/8", 1/2" and 3/4
" round bar stock. This simple exterior threading alignment tool is a die starter for your round bar stock.
Benefits:
- Accuracy without a lathe.
- Squarely guides YOUR 2" round die onto the rod you are cutting new exterior threads on. This eliminates any chance of crooked threading so you thread with ease the first time. It is recommended that you place your round stock in a vice for easier threading.
- 3/4" diameter 7-7/8" long steel handles provide plenty of torque. Handles are threaded and can be easily and quickly removed for storage, if desired.
- Includes 3D printed guide organizer for storage when not in use.
Machined in Oregon, USA by Cascade Metal Works.
Size:
Overall length 17-5/8" (longer length than those currently on the market). Guides are milled from 6061 aluminum and are 1-9/16" long x 1" diameter.
NOTE: Die and round bar stock NOT included. Holds your 2" round dies; this tool works with 6 sizes of round bar stock. If you need a different size or a guide for metric dies, please send a message to seller.
This high quality machined tool is made from carbon steel and 6061 aluminum. Three (3) set screws securely hold your round die in place. All set screws require a standard 5/32" size
