This is a good time of year to be on stand!!! Historically I have had some really nice bucks taken during this hunt. It’s post rut, but usually some 2nd rut action during this time frame, also old wise bucks have been running and they are ready to hit the feeder, and that’s a good thing, breeding and hunger, that’s what gets most mature bucks!!
This is Big deer country!! If you harvest a mature buck you can expect him to have a live weight of 200 plus pounds. I really stress to hold out for a mature buck. If you purchase this hunt you will have first choice at this hunt next year and from then on as long as you keep coming back. That’s the deal I made with the hunters that have been coming since 2011, and that deal will extend to you.
This is a 3 day hunt, low fence, ranch has been under management since 2006, we are targeting mature 8pt or better bucks, no hidden fees. I only do 3 hunts a year, and it’s been this way since 2011, hunts are from blinds, I take you to your blind and pick you up. Absolutely NO walking around, you are allowed 1 mature buck 8pt or better, all the hogs you want, any exotics that might show up, we have had everything from elk, Buffalo , Aoudad sheep show up. I have 5 deer stands Each blind has a feeder, feeders are set to go off in morning and evening, I also corn roads in spots that you have a nice shot.My 3 groups of (2) hunters that usually come have taken some nice bucks over the years. Due to covid I have this opening to offer. Your hunt will start the morning of December 10th and end at dark on December 12th. I am needing 1 Hunter for this hunt,I will help you dress your animal and get it on ice. This has been an exceptionally wet spring and summer, and antler growth should be fantastic, this is a chance at a really nice free range buck at a working mans budget. Lodging is available in Aspermont, it’s about 50.00 -60.00 per night, I will give you the contact info to the motel. This hunt is 1750.00 per man. I have been doing this a long time, and taken great care of this piece of property. This ranch has not had any livestock ran on it since 2006, strictly brush for wildlife.
