    Tabernil AD3E
    Vitamin Supplement
A vitamin premix which provides a combination of vitamins that increase vigour in males and females during the breeding period.
    COMPOSITION:
    Vitamin A 5,000 IU
    Vitamin D3 800 IU
    Vitamin E (a-tocoferol) 2.50 mg
    Excipient q.s. 1 ml.
    PROPERTIES:
One of the most important actions of vitamin E is the effect on the gonads and the adenohypophysis. Vitamin E deficiency causes: a degeneration of spermatozoids, a decrease in the sexual instinct, impossibility to incubate eggs and muscular dystrophy. Vitamin A enhances fertility and vitamin D3 regulates the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus.
    INDICATIONS:
It is recommended to prepare breeding birds both before and during the reproductive period to prevent or correct deficient states caused by a deficiency of vitamins A, D3 and E, especially those related to reproductive disorders.
TARGET SPECIES: Canaries and ornamental birds in general.
    ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
TABERNIL AD3E should be added to drinking water in the following amounts: 4 ml/litre, which is equivalent to 4 drops/40 ml of water.
Administer 20 days before mating and continue until egg laying, in cycles of 5 days of treatment and 10 days without treatment.
    Prepare treated water daily.
Commercial presentation: 20 ml and 100 ml bottles.
    Tabernil calcio
    (calcium)
    Oral solution
    Mineral supplement
    COMPOSITION:
    Calcium gluconate 22.22 g
    Stabilised with
    calcium saccharate 1.54 g
    Aqueous excipient q.s. 100 ml.
    ANALYTICAL COMPOSITION:
    Crude ashes: Max. 7.0%
    Moisture: Max. 80.0%
    Calcium: 2.07 - 2.29%.
    PROPERTIES:
Calcium requirements increase particularly during the egg-laying period, especially in birds that reproduce in captivity. An insufficient supply of calcium might interfere in the adequate consistency of the egg shell, affecting its possibility to be incubated.
TABERNIL® CALCIO is an oral solution, easy to administer in drinking water that provides the calcium needed for these periods.
Calcium requirements also increase during growth of the chicks and a deficiency of this mineral is obvious by the deformations of the legs.
A correct supply of calcium is necessary during all the life of the animals, to avoid bone or beak deformities. TABERNIL CALCIO enables to cover, in a simple and secure way, these high demands of calcium during the whole bird's life.
    INDICATIONS:
Mineral supplement indicated in the laying period, to ensure the correct formation of the eggs, avoiding that these appear without shell or with a soft shell. Indicated as well during the whole life of the birds when the calcium demand is increased.
TARGET SPECIES: Canaries and ornamental birds in general (parakeets, goldfinches, pigeons, etc.).
    ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
Add TABERNIL® CALCIO to the drinking water at the dose of 12-13 ml/l, equivalent to 15 drops per 40 ml of water, during 15 days before the egg-laying period. For the rest of the indications, administer 4 ml of TABERNIL CANTO/ml of drinking water, equivalent to 5 drops per 40 ml of water, during periods of 5-7 days.
    Prepare treated water daily.
    Commercial presentation: 20 ml bottles
    Tabernil canto
    Song stimulant
    Oral solution
    COMPOSITION:
    Methyltestosterone 0.3 mg
    Vitamin A 2,000 IU
    Vitamin D3 400 IU
    Vitamin E 2.5 mg
    Excipient q.s. 1 ml.
    PROPERTIES:
Bird singing is typical of males in many species and these have distinct and varied purposes. It is an alert call in case of predators, it indicates the health status of the animal, since birds stop singing when several pathologies are present. During the breeding period, it has an important paper in delimiting the territory and searching a couple. In canariculture varieties that outstand for their song have been selected during years, thanks to the careful selection of the genotypic and phenotypic characteristics. There is the possibility to stimulate this predefined genetic characteristic by administering vitamin and hormonal preparations that will influence the reproductive activity of the male.
TABERNIL® CANTO, is water-soluble, has totally guaranteed stability, is easy to administer and to assimilate, provides the aforementioned hormones (testosterone in the form of methyltestosterone) that stimulates the appearance of secondary sexual characteristics in males. The product is complemented by vitamins A, D3 and E that also stimulate reproductive activity and thus the bird's capacity to sing.
    INDICATIONS:
Recommended for all male songbirds to simulate and increase singing. When singing stops as a consequence of stress, moulding, infectious or parasitic processes, or any other pathology; before administering TABERNIL CANTO the primary process must be solved.
TARGET SPECIES: Canaries and songbirds in general (males only).
    ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE:
The following amount of TABERNIL® CANTO should be added to the drinking water: 25 drops per 40 ml of water. Administration should be carried out 2-3 times a week, or a maximum of 4-5 times a week when preparing birds for competitions. Prepare treated water daily.
It can also be administered mixed with a cake, particularly in individual treatments, in which case the dose is 3 drops/bird/day. If results are not obtained within 3-4 weeks of treatment, the diagnosis should be reconsidered since the bird may be suffering from another type of process.
    Commercial presentation: 20 ml bottle.

    (moulting)
    Oral solution
    Vitamin supplement
    COMPOSITION:
    Choline chloride 11 g; DL-methionine 2 g; vitamin B6 0.2 g; nicotinamide 1.5 g; pantothenic acid 1.6 g; aqueous excipient q.s. 100 ml.
    PROPERTIES:
The shedding and fledging of feathers is known as moulting and it occurs in a cyclic frequency.
Even though this is a physiological phenomenon it requires special attention of the carers, since it is difficult to determine when it is a normal, intense, abnormal or early process.
Abnormal moulting can be caused by: infectious diseases, parasites, management errors, adverse climate and deficient or imbalanced diet. During moulting periods there is an increase in the need for vitamins and amino acids. This also occurs during the period of feathering of the chicks, when the nutrients are insufficient. In these periods, TABERNIL MUDA, vitamin and amino acid supplement in oral solution, can provide sufficient nutrients in a convenient way given its easy administration route.
    INDICATIONS:
To shorten the duration of all types of moulting. To encourage plumage when chicks are being raised.
