Description
Discover a captivating trio of vintage bottles, each with its own unique story to tell. Leading the set is a cork McCormick & Co. Baltimore extract bottle, approximately 6.25" long. McCormick & Co., founded in a Baltimore basement in 1889, has a storied legacy of producing premium spices and extracts. This bottle, likely pre-1910, is a charming relic from the company’s early days, offering a nostalgic glimpse into the history of American culinary traditions.Accompanying it are two cork medicine bottles with marked gradations. See photos for dimensions. One bottle boasts a delicate lavender hue, a rare and beautiful effect from long years of exposure to sunlight. I can't quite read the maker's mark. The other is a clear bottle, marked "J.S.M." on the base. I can't determine their makers from their marks, adding an air of mystery to their provenance. Their vintage charm and historical significance are undeniable. None of the three corks are original.
Please read the description and view all of the images carefully. Please note, the extract bottle has a small rough spot on a lower corner, and one smaller bottle has a crack but remains intact, adding to their authentic vintage character. I do my best to provide details as accurately as possible. Vintage items are pre-owned. Due to their age and condition, vintage items are sold “As-Is”.
