ABOUT THIS ITEM
: This still (s) are from a large estate collection, it is from my understanding that the pictures range in date from early 20th thru 1980’s. I will be offering some 200 to 300 hundred vintage and early stills including silent film stars Charlie Chaplin, W.C. Fields, Rudolph Valentino, etc., etc... too many to list at once. Many appear to be period originals with some later reissues through SOMA.
The collection originates directly out of an estate in Illinois and are fresh to market with most having been stored in several photo albums (although some clearly appear inventoried and placed in archive paper, cataloged or categorized) and possibly used for research.
I know virtually little to nothing about film stills other then what is readily available online. Thankfully, however many are stamped, labeled, cited, inscribed or bear studio and/or photographers names.
