Description
Up for sale is an empty bottle of La Bodega brand Extra Virgin Olive Oil which has a voluem of 1 Qt. (1.8 fl. oz); basically a 1 Liter Bottle. This bottle had a rounded cork type of bottle cap on it; which at point managed to come undone from itself. The cork's plastic insert tip was then glued back onto the its wooden top. While it seems to work, I'm not sure if regular wood glue would be strong enough to hold the plastic part securely enough. I figure that it'll eventually just separate again sooner or later; since friction will surely be an eventual issue here. Additionally, the front label on the bottle is slightly ripped up along the top and sides, however, the rear label still looks pretty intact. Additionally, there might be other signs of wear on it from general age and/or storage; which may appear in the form of scratches on the surface of the bottle and whatnot (like a noticeable one on the bottom of the glass). This bottle is approximately 9.5" tall (including its cork) and has an equilateral width of about 3.5" from all sides at the square shaped base at the bottom. The mouth is about 2" wide give or take (with the cork receptacle inside of it). This bottle has a somewhat clear looking glass to it, but sometimes it sort of looks like it has a slightly greenish tint to it (must be from all the olives!)
I can't exactly recall when I originally acquired this bottle, but I figure it must have been sometime in the late 2010's or possibly early 2020's. The bottle was drained and then cleaned with an Amazon Basics enzyme cleaner and later on sprayed with a Clorox Bleach multi purpose surface cleaner as well. I figure it'll need a deeper clean, preferably with a dishwasher (which I unfortunately do not currently have at my disposal) in order to be used again (in as far as containing a drinking fluid/concoction of some sort) or it can be repurposed for holding some other kind of liquid altogether or can simply just be used for display purposes only. They can even function as movie props if need be, or perhaps even used as target practice. The sky's the limit really when it comes to reuse and whatnot.
Sure, this may not be the best looking empty bottles for sale out there, but I am offering it as-is condition for a reasonably low selling price. As the saying goes; one man's garbage is another man's gold... so I'm pretty sure someone out there might be interested in it; which is why I'm pricing it to move, so please be sure to get in on this deal while it still lasts.
