Made specifically to fit the current Ka-bar brand  KA1217 Fighting Knife.
It may fit other copies of the USMC fighting knife but that will depend on how closely they match Ka-bars  current specs.  The generic term kabar is used for this style of knife but many manufacturers have made them over the years and things like the handle diameter vary from one to the next.
(Fits blade up to 1 1/4" wide and 7" long)
Distance from center to center of the two halves of the snap is about 4 inches which will give you an estimate of how big around the handle can be approximately 4 inches from the guard of the knife.
