  • Condition: Hnefatafl Viking Chess is in very good pre-owned condition. All pieces are accounted for and the set is complete. The board and chessmen are in excellent condition; no scratches and the wood tones are gorgeous, the box is in good condition but has some storage wear on the edges, a scratch in the gold foil lettering in "HNEFATAFL" and also a crease on the top flap of the cover.

    HNEFATAFL Viking Chess
    Hnefatafl begins as a Viking nightmare: Outmanned, outmaneuvered, and on the verge of losing their king. You and your challenger must determine the course: Will you live the Viking nightmare and try to lead your king to safety? Or will you play the Attackers and aim to overthrow the king's table? As one of the oldest games in the world (it's at least 600 years older than chess) Hnefatafl reached its height of popularity around 400 A.D.

    Condition: Very good pre-owned condition. All pieces are accounted for and the set is complete. The board and chessmen are in excellent condition; no scratches and the wood tones are gorgeous, the  box is in good condition but has some storage wear on the edges, a scratch in the gold foil lettering in "HNEFATAFL" and also a crease on the top flap of the cover.
