HANDMADE KYDEX SHEATH
.080 Olive Drab Boltaron (kydex)
Hand made to fit the Ontario 8190 / 898 Marine Combat Knife
that is 12" overall with 7" blade.
NOTE: the sheath is molded from this specific model and probably will not fit other versions of the Marine Combat Knife
Includes Combat Clip for LH or RH carry on up to 1 3/4" belt.  Push button to open, slide button to lock / unlock.
IMPORTANT - This old fashioned style knife has a handle and guard area that is shaped and polished by hand.  Every one will be a little different so it is MUCH more likely that you will have to very carefully use a heat gun to warm up the throat area of the sheath and mold it to fit your knife.   If you don't feel comfortable doing this, you probably don't want to try kydex.

For replacement of the sheath that comes with the knife.  You may want to use this sheath in the outdoors and keep the original sheath pristine.  Or maybe the dog ate your original sheath....
Pictures are of the sheath you will receive so look carefully.  The sheath only fits this particular model.  As is normal with Kydex, you may need to gently heat the throat and adjust the fit of the handle as your knife may be more or less worn than the one that I used for a form.
NOTE: Kydex is a hard material and is most commonly used for outdoor use.  It is very likely to leave marks on the blade or handle of the knife so don't use it on a new knife that you are trying to keep pristine.
Please note that belt clips including Tek-Lok, Dots-Lok and G-Clip are all mounted behind the blade and will cause the sheath to ride high. Be sure and take a look at the back of the sheath in the pictures....
