Offered is a beautifully designed and intricately detailed set of
King Arthur Fantasy Chessmen
complete with a
15" Glass Chess Board
As with all of our chess sets, this is a complete 32 Piece set.
We don't show all of the pieces in the picture because then
it gets too crowded and you can not see the magnificent detail.
And a view of the back.
This decorative themed set has 3 1/2" Kings.
Cast of Characters
The King and Queen are King Arthur and Queen Guinevere
The Biship is Merlin the Wizard.
The Knights are, at your choice, Sir Lancelot or Sir Galahad,
depending on your view of the general honor of Medieval Knights.
The individual squares alternate between frosted and clear,
with a clear perimeter, which alows your table top to show through.
The individual squares are 1 1/2" making the playing surface of the board 12" by 12"
with an overall size of 15" x 15".
This is such a beatuful set that, even when you are not playing,
it deserves to be left out just to show the world
"Hey, look what I got !!!"
However, if you do decide to put it away, this unique themed set
has a custom fitted styrofoam tray to hold the pieces safely separated.
There is also a second tray with a recess to safely hold the chess board.
The whole set then slides back into a decorative box for safe keeping.
Just a Head's Up
With the glass board this set has a shipping weight of about 9 pounds
which is 2 to 3 times heavier than most typical chess sets.
We mention this to minimize the "sticker shock" you may suffer
when you see the shipping charges.
They are beyond our control.
