Chess Set Handcrafted Medieval Ages Hand Painted Large Wood Game Board American Made.  Uncertain of the age.  The pieces are made of ceramic and hand painted, The chess pieces are large and solid / heavy,  pieces are approximately 4 to 6 inches in height, game board is made of solid wood with cardboard inserts separating each piece.  Board measures 20 inches x 22 inches and the height is 5 inches.  The game board top is hand colored with a lacquer finish.  With the game board down the storage area for the pieces is shown.  There is a peg board insert to close the top.  The details of each piece is amazing, each piece has a felt piece attached.   Game is heavy weighing in at 15 pounds.   I have never seen any chess game / set made like this before.  The bad is 2 pawns have their ornate helmet tops broken off as shown in the picture.  The Medieval Theme with the hand made wood board makes it quite unique.  Local pickup welcome .  Each piece was packed in stryo wrap before it was pictured.   I will pack and ship with the best care and get the best rates for shipping.   I have taken the best pictures possible to show the details & condition of the game.   Any questions please ask.   Thanks
