AMAZING OLD ANTIQUE VINTAGE CA. 1950’s KEYSTON BROTHERS, SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA, USA, “PATENT APPLIED FOR” STERLING SILVER AND 1/10 14 KARAT GOLD RAISED FIVE POINT STAR & GOLD HORSE HEAD BELT BUCKLE—
This antique pre-owned sterling silver & gold belt buckle shows average moderate signs of use and light tarnish & wear, as would be expected on an approximately 70 year old belt buckle. There is wear on the gold horse and a naturally oxidized slightly darker finish on some of the sterling engraving....a patina that would be expected and commensurate with the buckles age. It features an older style clasp “Patent Applied For” that still functions perfectly. Overall, this is a very rare & classic western American cowboy style buckle that will be great to wear or add to a collection. Measures 3 5/8” x 2 1/4”, fits belts up to 1 1/2” wide and weighs 30 grams or just over one ounce.
