Antique Vintage Black Onyx Round Donut Circle Drilled Shaped Stone Bead #F602

When I was a child more than 40+ years ago my father was in the antique jewelry business.
From time to time he would come home with different treasures and occasionally he would let me "acquire" them!
I am selling all of my collection and it ranges from necklaces to sterling pins, to rhinestone Deco pieces and more.

This is an antique/vintage Black Onyx ? Round Donut Circle Shaped Stone/ Bead.
It measures approx. 1/2" in diameter (13.5 mm) and the opening measures approx. 1/4" (6.5 mm) in diameter.
It has minor scratches commensurate with its age but it is not offensive to the eye.
I'm not really sure what it is made from; my best guess is onyx or glass.
