When I was a child more than 40+ years ago my father was in the antique jewelry business.
From time to time he would come home with different treasures and occasionally he would let me "acquire" them!
I am selling all of my collection and it ranges from necklaces to sterling pins, to rhinestone Deco pieces and more.

This is an antique/vintage Marquise Shaped Black Onyx ?
Stone Silver Encrusted with the  Initials "MM".
Its drilled so you can set a diamond or colored stone in a bezel. It's a pretty look.
It measures approx. 17.5 mm x 9 mm x 2 mm thick (just under 3/4" x 3/8" x 1/16").
