I have recently returned to Ebay after two years abroad, and I am happy to once again offer some of the FINEST and RAREST vintage collectible Western Trophy Buckles and Ranger Sets in the United States. Most ALL of my items are ORIGINAL, not modern reproductions of the originals. These are the REAL McCOYS!!!
Here is one of the FINEST buckles that I have EVER OWNED. This STERLING & 10K HIGH-DOMED RANGER SET was made by FAMED BOHLIN BUCKLE MASTER, AHMAD KHAN, and features ROSE GOLD FLOWERS, YELLOW GOLD LEAVES & TULIP DESIGN where the shield would be. This buckle set was designed by Ahmad as his INTERPRETATION of the work of LEGENDARY BUCKLE MAKER, W. R. DRISKELL, of ROSENBERG, TEXAS. Aside from the GOLD WORK, KHAN also used INCREDIBLE SINGLE-POINT hand engraving on both the silver and the gold.
The set accommodates a 3/4 inch belt strap.
This SUBSTANTIAL piece has A LOT OF GOLD and is signed "AHMAD KHAN HOLLYWOOD CALIF STERLING HAND MADE 10K." For those of you who don't know, AHMAD KHAN went to work for BOHLIN in 1981, and became the MOST PROLIFIC of ALL the BOHLIN SILVERSMITHS, eventually becoming FOREMAN of the BOHLIN COMPANY before breaking out on his own to open his own workshop.
