    Description

About 20-25 years ago i was clearing out a property in San Francisco to prepare it to be listed for sale. In the garage i saw a big pile of old suitcases--they were all super heavy. Opening 1 I saw that it was filled with what looked costume jewelry---some clearly older, some looked contemporary. I didn't have the bandwidth to deal with it all but couldn't face throwing it all out so after finding out that no one involved in the property gave a damn about any of it, i put it all in my own storage place. And there it sat...and sat. Recently, after the whole "end of the world thing" started, i found myself with the time to go through it all. I put things in piles based on categories of my own making. This may or may not make sense but since I'm selling them all as lots i sure hope it does! A few things: Unless i make mention of it there are no obviously broken pieces in here. There wasn't much like that but i didn't include it. I tried to make sure that i only put as many items in each auction as could be pictured properly in the 12 photos they give you. So i may not have much in the way of description for you. Just look at the pictures closely. Oh and yes, I will combine shipping as best as i can-and no, i don't do BIN.
#96- 118   Next, I've decided to dive into the pile of stuff that was in a big suitcase labeled "sterling". About 25% of this pile though was in a bag that someone had labeled "Unmarked Sterling"...So i had learn about all of that. Got a magnet, some bleach, and some silver acid test stuff. Tested as many pieces as i could face testing.  Btw, some the pieces from this pile say Hencho En Mexico, some just Mexico. By Unmarked i just mean no .925 that i can find.  So- i will put all of the Unmarked silver stuff up first and hopefully you collectors/resellers will know your silver enough to know how to bid for these lots. Unless otherwise noted i believe that all items in the lot are sterling, based on my non-expert analysis. Please just let me know if i turn out to be wrong about anything. I'm an honest seller.
#99   This lot is for 3 Vintage belt buckles and one link belt. The oval one with the ring of turquois is 3 3/4" x 3" and is signed what i believe is SHZ (see pic). The rectangular one with what looks like MOP and abalone and maybe some hardwood is 3 " x 2 1/8" and says Hecho en Mexico. The one with the 3 plates and the gorgeous stones (what are they?) is 6" x 2" in total and is unmarked. The concha belt is 14 links, 25 1/2" total length and unmarked
