4" Lotus Rosewood set in Teakwood Case

Set contains 32 pieces in the Lotus Design. This pattern for chess pieces dates back to the early 1800’s in India. Hand carved with dozens of hours of work by master carvers give the set an amazing look. This Lotus Design set is made from Rosewood and Boxwood. This is a very hard set to make in any wood because of the fine detailing. The Rosewood has an amazing warmth to the wood that makes you want to pick up the pieces. This set has perfect proportions on the pieces. The larger pieces are made in sections and mated together. This is a set that people will marvel at the craftsmanship. Each piece had billiard cloth covering the base. This set comes in a folding 18” chess board with fitted spaces for storage. The squares on the board are 2”.
