NEW IN BOX! Crafted in India of sheeshamwood and boxwood, these heavy triple-weighted Professional-style Staunton chess pieces look really nice and feel even better in your hands. These pieces have a great weight and a great balance! 32 pieces total.
As these are hand-crafted from wood, some variations in wood color and stain can be expected. Pieces were received loose in box from manufacturer.

Hint: Unsure what size chess pieces you need to comfortably fit your board? A good rule of thumb is the height of the King (which is standard measurement for chess pieces) should be about or just under the height of two board squares. Therefore, these 3.75" pieces should fit an about 2" square board quite well. Of course, consider style and base size as well to round up or down a smidge.

They can not be created in any way other than by hand, and the details in the horses take the largest chunk of the time to craft the entire set. It's safe to say- the more detailed your knights, the more expensive the set will be in comparison to similar sets.
