    Description

This is a wonderful guide book brochure of the Black Hills of South Dakota published in 1932. It gives you a glimpse of what the area was like in that time period when they were just starting to create tourism in the Black Hills. Great photos and art work, some in color. Old cars passing through the new Needles Highway, a page advertising homestead opportunities, article about the creation of Mt Rushmore (which was still being worked on at this time). Great historic glimpse back into a bygone era. The guide is 31 pages. It is in excellent condition, having a few dog-eared edges along the cover and back. Someone wrote the name "Richard Beck" in pen on the front cover. No musty smell and comes from smoke free environment.
