The coin is just named after its designer, United States Mint Assistant Engraver at the time
George T. MORGAN (does not say any of this on coin, please see pics above)
The obverse (front side of coin) depicts a head profile
portrait representing Lady Liberty.
The words around the top edge
E PLURIBUS UNUM
with the 1887 date on the bottom edge, please see pics above.
The reverse (back of coin) depicts an eagle bird with wings outstretched and
words all around the edge

and in smaller size letters, right above the eagle, the words
