1881S LIBERTY HEAD aka MORGAN DOLLAR – MINT STATE

Description

Presented is a nicely-struck MINT STATE
1881 SAN FRANCISCO MINT MORGAN DOLLAR.
Both obverse and reverse surfaces are mar-free with the fields mirror-reflective with some very light “frosting” highlighting Liberty’s hair.
The reverse devices (eagle and wreath) are very lightly but completely “frosted”, giving the reverse a proof-like appearance.
There is very slight gold hue toning along the rim denticle surfaces on both obverse and reverse.
