  • Condition: This coin is in Excellent, gently pre-owned, ungraded condition. I do not know whether this coin ever entered into circulation or not. Only a professional coin grader can assign a meaningful condition grade to a coin. I don't think that it has been in circulation and I know that it has never been to the Coin grader. The coin has a lovely light patina and all the characteristics of a good strike. For example, the chest feathers on the eagle are still visible. It weighs exactly what a Morgan Silver dollar should weigh. Please see images for more condition detail.

    ANTIQUE SILVER DOLLAR.  This 1881-O MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR was minted 140 years ago in New Orleans.  It is still in Excellent, UNGRADED Condition.

    DESCRIPTION:
    This is a nice example of an 1881 - O Morgan silver  dollar.  I have not taken this coin to be graded.  But, in my opinion is in very nice BEAUTIFUL PATINAED GEM BU condition. Once again, i cannot do this coin justice with the pictures from my phone.  The chest feathers of the eagle are visible and pronounced.  It doesnt show up well in the photos and it is from the lighting, not the coin. It is a lot nicer and looks a lot better than my pictures show.  The coin does have some scratches which are bag marks. This is a VERY NICE COIN. Please grade the coin for yourself with the description and the pictures.  Unfortunately, I am not a professional grader, nor am I a professional photographer. The coin in the pictures is the coin you will receive.
